Project Description

This high profile project is located on Hagley Road in Birmingham and was set to bring an important building back into active use. The scheme involved the provision of 149 studio bedrooms, seven common rooms, basement bike parking and a 6000 sq ft ground floor retail unit. The fast track student accommodation project was delivered on time for the 2016 intake and provides self catering facilities for all students, en-suite bathrooms, mini fitted kitchens and lounge areas. The project was delivered in a busy part of the city centre so Shaylor Group maintained close liaison with Birmingham City Council in order to obtain relevant road closures and permits.
