The design and construction of a 2 storey Clinical Research and Primary Care building.
The project included the construction of laboratories, consulting rooms, MRI suite, treatment areas, theatres, anaesthetic rooms and research areas.
- Procurement of the project on an open book basis and working closely with the Client Team resulted in retaining the high quality standards expected in the building whilst maintaining the cost budget.
- Excellent management and coordination for access and deliveries – working in a constrained and live university campus – achieved successful relationships and no disruption to the operation of the University.
- Achieved successful collaboration and team working with client , M&E services and specialist supply chain in the design, installation and commissioning of the extensive clinical and research facilities.
- Successful installation of a 'clean' room, acoustically 'dead' hearing assessment room and MRI suite (the first of its kind in the provision of ophthalmic research facilities.
