A Design and Build project to rebuild and remodel an existing five storey concrete framed office building to high standards of finish.
The works entailed removal of top storey and roof and the addition of a new 2 storey steel-framed structure with curved steel roof; removal of existing external cladding back to concrete frame and recladding building with energy efficient seamless curtain walling and Sto render bands. Internally, the brief included remodelling of reception, stairs, toilets and kitchen areas, internal finishes including raised access floors, full M&E services and new lifts.
- Excellent client relationships. Worked closely with Client to amend construction methods and programme to maintain time and budget.
- Partial possessions agreed to enable tenant fitting out ahead of completion
- Excellent standard of works and finishes achieved.
- Achieved Considerate Constructors inspection score of 34 (in top 15% of all UK projects)
- BREEAM Assessment in progress and will achieve Very Good Rating • Carbon and resource monitoring systems used
